The Chicago Chimera team is seeking skilled feature writers and graphic artists to be a part of a World Champion franchise. Writers and artists are in a position to walk away with valuable experience working in the volatile world of competition coverage, all the while finding new-found respect for the work that goes into Chimera each and every day.

Applicants must be hard working, friendly and capable of thriving in a comfortable space where writers are allowed a generous amount of freedom to do what they do best -- write. All inquiries must be North American residents and at least 18 years of age due to compensation requirements.

Feature Writer

The Job
• Consistently producing intelligible, informative and enlightening content on a variety of competition games
• Learning about and discovering the meaning behind every good topic, story and player in relation to Chimera
• Living up to General Manager Brian Flander's respectable expectations in content and character quality

The Requirements
• At least 18 years of age
• North American resident
• Fluent in the English language
• Must be unattached to gaming news outlets that ethically conflict with objective writing(s)
• Capable of producing multiple content pieces a month
• Strong knowledge of the scene, or a willingness to learn quickly
• Dedicated yet friendly approach to assignments, and colleagues
• Decent understanding of HTML and copy editing preferred, though not required
• Understanding of and continued access to IRC preferred, though not required

• Completing assignments quickly, and on-call.
• Learning about and discovering the meaning behind every good topic, story and player in relation to Chimera
• Living up to General Manager Brian Flander's respectable expectations in content and character quality

The Requirements
• At least 18 years of age
• North American resident
• Fluent in the English language
• Consistently available to take on on-call assignments
• Capable of producing multiple art pieces a month
• Advanced skills in related graphics art software, such as GIMP or Adobe Photoshop
• Strong knowledge of the scene, or a willingness to learn quickly
• Dedicated yet friendly approach to assignments, and colleagues
• Understanding of and continued access to IRC preferred, though not required
